Just in recent weeks, cucumbers were pitched as the perfect hangover cure in a Tik Tok that subsequently went viral and caught the attention of MDs who saw fit to address the situation. Then followed the question posed of whether the secret to fixing a squeaky door hinge was—you guessed it—a cucumber.
In these instances, cucumbers are being talked about and bought up to both explore the claims and to ride the wave of the latest hashtag that keeps influencers current and would-be influencers in line for the next success. Either way, the bellwether of the Internet seems to show the winds blowing in favor of cucumber demand!
