BOSTON, MA - Southeast Produce Council’s (SEPC) Southern Innovations hit Charlotte, North Carolina, with aplomb with exhibitors, attendees, and innovations galore. As we look back fondly on this event, there are still many things we in the fresh produce sphere can learn and apply moving forward. Tive’s Colby Aaron, Retail Solutions Manager, shares with me what the company brought to the trade show and what the supply chain can expect.

Colby Aaron, Retail Solutions Manager, Tive“I have a lot of great memories from Southern Innovations, including the shooting event! The show always provides a great opportunity to interact with leaders in the produce industry,” began Colby. “With the launch of our latest product, Tive Tag, our team was looking forward to highlighting the new device in front of attendees and gathering more information on their wants and needs.”

Introduced this past July, the thin, easy-to-use Tive Tag label was made for end-to-end cold chain monitoring of temperature-sensitive products. Cost-effective for first and last-mile cold chain visibility, customers can use their iPhone or Android to start a shipment with a simple tap of the Tag. When the shipment arrives at its destination, tap the Tag again to collect the temperature data from its origin to its destination. The Tive Tag mobile app instantly uploads all temperature data to the Tive Tag cloud application to help maintain an audit trail for all compliance needs.

Tive continues to advance the supply chain forward as it monitors and tracks temperature-sensitive shipments with innovative products, such as its Tracker

Tive is widely known for its real-time shipment monitoring—such as location, temperature, humidity, shock, and light exposure of cargo in transit. The Tive Tag temperature logger is a perfect addition to Tive’s product portfolio, quickly gaining recognition as the most cost-effective, easy-to-use temperature logger for end-to-end cold chain monitoring of temperature-sensitive shipments.

“We were excited to discuss real-time visibility with attendees on top of learning about how they operate on a daily basis,” continues Colby. “A big part of this show was meeting up with customers whom we have not seen in some time, and continuing to build and expand relationships. It’s so good to have face-to-face relationship building; it helps us discover what we can do better or how we have helped them already.”

Here’s to more opportunities to bring our industry together and the solutions that are born from these collaborations.
