The company is located at the Philadelphia Wholesale Produce Market on Essington Avenue in the city of Philadelphia. Avocados are a mainstay item for the company and John Vena Inc. started doing business with West Pak Avocado over twenty years.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"> In the company's old location in the Philadelphia Regional Produce Market, John Vena Inc. started to do forward distribution for West Pak. Now in the company's new facility they have just completed installation of state-of-the-art ripening rooms. These rooms have been built by Dade Service Corporation and these rooms have been a boom to the business. It is an opportunity for the company to offer pre-conditioned avocados to their customers along with the green fruit that they have always handled. The rooms are an important expansion of West Pak's Just Ripe™ avocado ripening program in the Northeast. This year happens to be the 30th Anniversary at West Pak. The company has come a long way since its beginnings. The strategic alliance with John Vena Inc. is another important milestone for West Pak.
