Wysocki Family of Companies Awarded by United Way for Continued Support

BANCROFT, WI – The Wysocki Family of Companies (WFC), parent company of RPE, Inc., Paragon Potato Farms, and Wysocki Produce Farm, has taken home the United Way’s respected annual Community Spirit Award for continued corporate and employee support.

Awarded by United Way of Portage County, the Community Spirit Award was conferred on February 9 during United Way’s annual Recognition Luncheon. The company was one of over 225 supporters that raised more than $2.8 million for United Way.

A United Way supporter since 2008, WFC consistently organizes year-round workplace fundraisers for United Way through an employee-run committee.

WFC said that these fundraisers inventively engage employees, gaining employee donations through a plethora of events. Past events included:

  • Chili cook-offs
  • Basket raffles
  • Dunk tank
  • Tailgate extravaganza

WFC also noted annual donations to Project Fresh Start, a United Way program that donates school supplies to community children.

Each year, WFC records employee donations of over $50,000 to United Way community services and programs.
