Amerifresh is reporting that onion demand and prices are up, despite the recent monsoon that hit Mexico. Pressure from export is pushing prices up on red, white, as well, as medium yellow onions, according to an Amerifresh market update. Jumbo yellows are firming, but steady for now, while Idaho and Colorado shippers are ridding themselves of questionable products as discount prices which is keeping yellow prices in check for now.

Additionally, the company reports that green bell peppers through Nogales moved up in prices this week, but supplies are tight.

This year at PMA Fresh Summit, Amerifresh had a huge focus on the history of its quality-oriented Snoboy brand as well.
