MIAMI, FL - Versatility is the name of the game, and Crystal Valley Foods is playing to win. In preparation for the International Fresh Produce Association’s (IFPA) Foodservice Conference, Katiana Valdes, Director of Marketing and Business Development, gave me a sneak peek at its showcase that is ready to woo both foodservice buyers and retailers.
“This year, we will be featuring our 2 lb foodservice bags at the show,” Katiana says. “All of our 2 lb bags do very well in the foodservice channel, and they are particularly unique because they have a pre-printed barcode that allows them to be sold at retail and club stores as well.”
Crystal Valley’s 2 lb foodservice offerings include French and green beans that come trimmed and ready to cook and asparagus. On top of the pre-printed barcodes, the bags are microwaveable, feature key product information, and are microperforated for extended shelf-life.
With these universal products on hand and ready for the show floor, Crystal Valley’s team is excited to interact with industry members again in person.
