LOCKPORT, NY - How do people NOT associate apples with Halloween? I was bobbing for apples and dipping them into caramel as soon as I could walk—okay, I might be exaggerating—but they’ve been a feature of my Halloween celebration for quite some time. To capitalize on the association between the holiday and the category, Crunch Time Apple Growers and its SnapDragon® apple brand is partnering with Concord Foods and its Wrapples brand for a Halloween season campaign.

Jessica Wells, Executive Director, Crunch Time Apple Growers“We started this partnership with Wrapples last year, and it has been a tremendous fit for SnapDragon,” said Jessica Wells, Executive Director for Crunch Time Apple Growers. “We have amplified the partnership on social media, in stores, and at special events. The feedback has been extremely positive.”

One of the additions to this year’s campaign is the use of SnapDragon’s celebrity endorsers, Caitlin and Mitch Morse of the NFL’s Buffalo Bills, a press release stated.

The campaign, which kicked off September 25, includes collaborations from social media influencers and in-store point-of-sale materials.

SnapDragon and Wrapples will celebrate the art of making caramel apples by offering prizes to consumers through Instagram giveaways and contests.

Samantha McCaul, Marketing Manager, Concord Foods“Our Wrapples brand team has worked hand-in-hand with the SnapDragon team, and we continue to find ways to expand this collaboration and encourage consumers to use Wrapples and SnapDragon apples together,” added Samantha McCaul, Marketing Manager at Concord Foods.

A spook-tacular way to celebrate the holiday, I’d say!
