SANTA MARIA, CA - When I look to the foodservice sector, I think of creativity, opportunity, and innovation. These three words also perfectly describe the experience of the International Fresh Produce Association’s (IFPA) Foodservice Conference. During the annual show, Gold Coast Packing will be taking a moment to showcase its new 2 lb snap peas, in addition to its core foodservice items such as broccoli, cauliflower, spinach, and cilantro.
“Our new Snap Peas offer unique menu creation as they can be used at the center of the plate or as a side dish,” shares Marketing Coordinator Crystal Chavez. “They can also be prepared in both hot and cold offerings. The Snap Peas are also washed and ready to use, which helps operators minimize labor in the back of house.”
Attendees will be lucky enough to explore the grower’s full foodservice portfolio, which is a key area of focus for Gold Coast Packing.
“We strive to offer our customers and foodservice operators innovative items that allow the creation of unique menu items,” Crystal adds. “Our foodservice lineup includes several pack sizes from as small as 2 oz to 40 lb bulk items.”
