Crunch Pak Launching DipperZ

<p>Crunch Pak is introducing their low-calorie, single-serve DipperZ of fresh-cut produce and dip. The four delectable combinations available are sweet or tart apples with caramel dip, sweet apples with chocolate dip and baby peeled carrots with ranch dip. Each DipperZ arrangement has only 80 calories or less, with an estimated 30-day shelf life. The new DipperZ snack trays have already been voted the &ldquo;cool new product&rdquo; by the attendees of the 2011 National Association of Convenience Stores (NACS) show Oct. 2- 4 in Chicago. The annual conference for the convenience store industry brought in more than 22,000 individuals and equipped them with hand-held scanners with the task of choosing items they regarded as &ldquo;cool new products&rdquo; for convenience stores.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">More than 80 fresh products made by Crunch Pak are sold nationwide in more than 11,000 convenience stores. The company saw the opportunity to fulfill a need in the industry for healthy, single-serve, produce-based snacks. Creative minds at Crunch Pak conceived the idea for DipperZ in response to that consumer desire for a low-calorie, single-serving option. Tony Freytag, senior vice president of sales and marketing states, "Produce-based snacks are on the rise, and will likely continue to grow along with the emphasis in the U.S. on eating a diet full of fruits and vegetables."
