Prudent has announced that the largest flow battery system in the world, able to storing and delivering grid-scale has received permission to operate from the local utility with plans to begin full operation in the comings weeks, according to a press release. Prudent Energy is the manufacturer of the VRB® Energy Storage System. The project’s commissioning marks milestones in the deployment of large-scale electricity storage systems.
