IPC Brings on New Industry Relations Director, Travis Blacker

<p><strong>Eagle, ID</strong><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">The Idaho Potato Commission has announced the appointment of Travis Blacker to the position of Industry Relations Director. Mr. Blacker will be located at IPC’s Eastern Idaho office and will be responsible for building and developing relationships between the IPC and the industry's growers, shippers, and processors. Mr. Blacker will also be charged with overseeing three committees, which serve as forums for discussion and idea generation in the Idaho potato industry: The Agriculture Affairs Committee, The Marketing Committee, and The Research and Education Committee.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">“Travis’ most recent role as president of the Idaho Grower Shippers Association (IGSA) makes him an exceptional candidate for this position.
