Sprouts is spreading its roots this Summer with a host of new Sprouts Farmers Markets and Sunflower Farmers Markets. The stores will be opening in San Jose, California; San Jose-Branham, California; Ahwatukee, Arizona; Mountain View, California; and Walnut Creek, California.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">The San Jose location will open on June 20th with a 32,000-square-foot Sunflower Farmers Market opening at Prospect Road and Saratoga Avenue. The Sunflower location will be getting revamped shortly after opening as Sunflower Farmers Market has recently joined the growing family of Sprouts Farmers Market. In the coming months, it will be rebranded to become a Sprouts Farmers Market, according to a press release.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">The San Jose-Branham location will open on July 18th. The new store will open under the Sunflower Farmers Market name, because the merger between Sunflower and Sprouts didn’t go through until after the store’s signage and permits had been prepared. In the coming months, the store will be rebranded to become a Sprouts Farmers Market.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">Ahwatukee’s location will open on August 22nd as a new Sprouts Farmers Market. More stores will be opening in the Greater Phoenix and Flagstaff areas. Mountain View is welcoming the opening of a Sprouts Farmers Market banner, due to Sprouts' recent merger with Sunflower Farmers Market, on September 5th. With its San Jose stores to the east and Sunnyvale and Mountain View to the west, they are steadily growing throughout the South Bay. Walnut Creek is slated to open September 5th will be a Sprouts Farmers Market built from scratch at Geary Road and N. Main Street in Walnut Creek.
