Wholesale Discount Market Inc Satisfies Reparation Order Issued Under PACA

<p>The USDA has announced that Reading, Pennsylvania-based Wholesale Discount Market Inc. satisfied a reparation order issued under the Perishable Agricultural Commodities Act.</p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><p>Wholesale Discount Market can continue operating in the produce industry upon applying for, and being issued a PACA license, according to a press release. Kenny Chen was listed as the officer, director, and major stockholder of the business. Chen may now be employed by or affiliated with any PACA licensee.</p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><p>Upon confirmation that there are not any outstanding unpaid awards and the reparation order is fully satisfied, USDA lifts the employment restrictions of the previously named, responsibly connected individuals.
