REEDLEY, CA - Growth is on the horizon for Mountain View Fruit Sales. From expanded acres to investments in its internal operations and consumer interactions, 2024 is lining up to be a milestone year for the company, and not just because it already marks 30 years in business.

Krista Beckstead, Director of Marketing, Mountain View Fruit Sales“As the industry continues to shift, Mountain View continues to grow in acreage, volume, and market share. For decades Mountain View has been known for quality, consistency, and service. As the consumers continue to change, so must we, in the ways we share stories of our family farmers, the wonderful fruit they grow, the many ways they can use our fruit as an ingredient versus a simple commodity, and our newly enhanced marketing team love helping our retail partners promote food as medicine. We are excited for the 2024 domestic stonefruit and grape season,” the company’s new and highly experienced Director of Marketing, Krista Beckstead, recently shared.

If Mother Nature is kind between now and Mountain View’s first harvest, the company expects to see substantial growth this year in volume as a company. And, if previous years’ demand trends continue as they have for the last decade, 2024 demand will match our supply growth and volume.

From expanded acres to investments in its internal operations and consumer interactions, Mountain View Fruit Sales is making the most of its 30th year in 2024

“In 2023, the demand exceeded supply substantially due to weather situations in California, Georgia, and South Carolina, so there is always a need to be cautiously optimistic,” Krista pointed out. “Our company is made up of multi-generational family farmers, and we are celebrating our 30th anniversary together this year with all our resources on the table. We are science-driven and committed to developing, growing, packing, shipping, and marketing the ultimate eating experience to consumers across the country and around the globe.”

A passionate team that values family and partnership, Mountain View started out primarily as a stonefruit grower/shipper in 1994 before expanding to offer grapes, Mandarins, lemons, Meyer lemons, Cara Cara oranges, and grapefruit. And though it is still family-owned, there is a wide reach to this brand’s umbrella.

“We attribute our growth to a consistent philosophy: to find the best growers and people, grow the best fruit, and develop the best partnerships with the best retailers—good people follow good people!” Krista shared, explaining that the breadth of good people continues to grow. “Another main focus that marketing is putting extra efforts into is ramping up our social media sites, growing interaction and engaging with consumers directly through those platforms on a greater level. We have hired an agency for the first time that focuses just on social media and we're excited to have them on board as an extension of our marketing team.”

With much clearly on the horizon as its 30th year commences, it is clear that we need to keep an eye on Mountain View Fruit Sales in the coming months. Congratulations to the entire team on this mile-marking achievement!
