This is a great fit because in addition to her excellent marketing skills and sunny disposition, Deborah has a long history and focus on sustainability, something Awe Sum Organics is very passionate about.”<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">Ms. Yashar, brings to her new position, a diverse range of industry experience in agricultural marketing and sustainable development. She has worked with hundreds of small-scale farmers and helped grow the beginning farmer education program and produce distributor, ALBA Organics, into a national leader. Ms. Yashar has played a vital role in the establishment of certified farmers’ markets and been at the forefront of legislation to enhance access to healthier food in California. At the Community Agroecology Network Deborah handled direct marketing of fair trade coffee and connected organic farms and apprentices from around the world for the Multinational Exchange for Sustainable Agriculture.
