California Giant Berry Farms has two great Summer promotions in the works. The Summer Smoothie Sweepstakes offers berry lovers a chance to win a Hamilton Beach Smoothie Smart™ Blender. By entering the contest on the company's website and Facebook page, 13 lucky winners will be chosen between now and July 2nd. Also slated for July is the company's "Giant Fans of Baseball" which will run through August and offers entrants gift certificates to Play it Again Sports. Caramel Naturel sales increased 32% due to great promotions and a raised awareness about the year round availability of the date program. Many retailers see dates as a strictly Fall or holiday item but when merchandised right, Winter and Spring can be very profitable for retailers. Ben Antongiovanni, Vice President of Sales, tells AndNowUKnow, "We still have excellent quality Caramel Naturel Medjool Dates available and will have plenty of supply for our current customers.
