Growers Express is picking up momentum on its artichoke production. The company's primary production region is located Monterey County, California with a small growing operation in San Quintin, Baja Mexico. Currently, supplies in both areas are still relatively light, but should start increasing in volume in the next 3-4 weeks and peaking in the month of April. Growers Express artichoke season lasts all year long. James DeLorimier , Artichoke Commodity Manager, tells AndNowUKnow, "We are anticipating another successful production year. To date the plants have received sufficient chilling hours and rainfall but we could certainly benefit from some additional precipitation."<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">Bari Produce is currently ramping up for the stone fruit season kicking off in the next few months. The company will start with cherries and apricots, and follow with peaches, plums, and nectarines. According to President Justin Bedwell, the company is proud of the fact that they are the largest volume producer of the Giant Lorna apricot, an exceptionally large and sweet variety that is especially popular with retailers. Bari has been growing the variety for 8 years and has enjoyed increased demand each year. Also, Bari is currently hiring a salesperson and is expanding their office to make room for their growing team.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">
