<p>Index Fresh is releasing the eighth Growers’ Avocado Culture Seminar Series DVD. This seminar was presented by Dr. Gary Bender and Dr. Ben Faber, Farm Advisors for Subtropical Horticulture, and John Cornell, an agronomist. The series focuses on <b>Using Phosphorous Acid for the Control of Phytophthora and Phosphorous Acid Application Methods</b>, according to a press release. </p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><p>“Index Fresh is committed to supporting our avocado growers and all interested growers in the area,” stated Giovanni Cavaletto, Vice-President of Operations. “We strive to provide growers with opportunities to hear up-to-date cultural information from both academic and avocado growing industry personnel. These locations are also key growing areas. They explored the difference between phosphorous and phosphoric acid. Presenters also cited research that supports using phosphorous acid among avocado trees.
