The Indianapolis Fruit Company is debuting its new line-- the Garden Griller's Grilling and Oven Roasting Kit. There are 11 new products as well as two new stir fry blends with Asian spices that help to make preparation easier in the kitchen. The line includes a range of items from an asparagus kit and a Fajita Mix to sweet potato fries and a garden fresh vegetable kit. The corporate chef created the items with in-kit spice blends to give the dishes unique and bold flavors. The kits also have QR codes that take consumers to a recipe site for each product. The line will be launched in late September in the Midwest. Mike Mascari, President, tells AndNowUKnow, "The line provides consumers with a delicious and flavorful eating experience. The kits are prepped and ready for grilling and roasting which makes them ideal for retailers to promote and perfect for consumers to buy as the busy holiday season gets underway."

Colorful Harvest's vibrantly and unusually colored heirloom fruits and vegetables are making quite the impact in produce departments by helping out the center store. Produce's popularity as a “perimeter” food is proving to be among the most attractive items to customers and is being used to make other retail items “pop.” CEO Doug Ranno , tells AndNowUKnow, "Merchandisers like Kraft and Truvia are calling upon us to get their non-produce products to the attractive perimeter of the stores through cross-promotions on our fresh produce packages. Colorful Harvest's all-natural and uniquely colorful fruits and vegetables are a useful tool for big brand companies like these because our products' vibrant and unusual colors really catch the eye of the consumer."
