RIDGE SPRING, S.C. – Bigger may be better, but it can also be healthier for the peach market and the environment.

Focusing on sustainability with a bigger supply of energy and a smaller carbon stamp, Titan Farms, leading distributor of peaches and vegetables, is adding space, equipment, and regulations to further improve the peach market for distributors and customers.

Chalmers Carr, President of Titan Farms“These are exciting times at Titan Farms,” Chalmers Carr, President of Titan Farms, said in a press release. “We are fully committed to providing our customers with the highest quality peaches grown in the Southeast. This investment in our facility and operations demonstrates our dedication to do just that.”

As part of the expansion to its packing facility, Titan will be adding a new state-of-the-art packing line and new packing equipment to increase overall productivity.

Quantity does not, however, have to be at the cost of quality, according to the plan listed in the company’s release.

In keeping its promise of growing the peach category, implementation of greater fruit-handling, color-sorting, and food safety with improved equipment and automatic bin-washing, are key components in maintaining that commitment.

Expansions and additions are scheduled to be completed by the middle of this upcoming May.
