MEXICO - A major holiday here in the United States is just around the bend—and, no, I’m not talking about Christmas, Hanukkah, or New Year’s. Instead, I’m speaking of the Super Bowl, which will take place in February 2023. And, for the eighth time in a decade, Avocados From Mexico™ (AFM) will be celebrating with a game-time commercial and marketing campaign.

The new ad will be supported by the company’s #AlwaysGood 360 marketing campaign, a release explained, and it will highlight good time and good taste, as avocados and guacamole are popular gameday foods that #MakeItBetter.

Overall, the Big Game remains the number one occasion where avocados and guac are served and prepared, AFM detailed. Roughly 250 million lbs of avocados are shipped from Mexico to the U.S. annually during the four weeks leading up to the Super Bowl. That’s enough avocados to stretch down and back the length of Arizona—where the Big Game will take place—more than 63 times when placed end to end.

AFM’s new 30-second spot will air during the Super Bowl, which will broadcast live on Sunday, February 12, 2023. The ad also coincides with the company’s in-store Big Game Guac Showdown shopper promotion featuring legendary Deion Sanders and Tracey Edmonds.

Retailers, February will be here before you know it, so start planning your Super Bowl promotions now.
