EDEN PRAIRIE, MN - For over 100 years, C.H. Robinson has been providing logistics solutions to the fresh produce industry. The company knows about establishing enduring partnerships and ensuring optimal freshness. We caught up with Patrick Bain, the company’s Mid-South Territory Manager, on the busy Viva Fresh 2017 show floor to find out how the company is giving back and supporting the associations that prop up our industry.

Patrick Bain, Mid-South Territory Manager, C.H. Robinson“We actually started with Western Growers. Way back in 2006, they were looking for a partner that they could help facilitate their grower community with and help get product from A to B,” Patrick tells me. “They selected C.H. Robinson after vetting several other companies, and through good service, and quality interaction and partnership, we’ve kind of taken that and applied it to different associations all over the country.”

Patrick noted that the company also partners with the Texas International Produce Association (TIPA), has sponsored Viva Fresh for three years, and in sponsoring the 2017 event, worked toward transporting all exhibitors' produce to the event.

“This year we sponsored the sponsorship of fresh produce for all exhibitors,” said Patrick. “So, we brought it all into Austin, we stored it, and then they did the final mile delivery into the convention center.”
