SAN ANTONIO, TX - Spring turned out to be a season of growth for the Leamington greenhouse company, Pure Flavor. I spoke with Ken Paglione, Key Account Manager, at this year’s Viva Fresh Produce Expo about what was new, and what was next for the flourishing company.

“Our new facility is in San Antonio, Texas, and we’ve quadrupled the size from our previous facility,” explains Ken when I ask him what’s new and exciting for the company. “That allows us to distribute to customers in the Texas area, as well as focusing on the West Coast.”Pure Flavor's New San Antonio Facility

Also on the agenda for Pure Flavor’s 2016 ventures are pushing the company’s new Living Lettuce, Marzanito tomatoes, and Aurora Bites.

Living Lettuce

The company’s Living Lettuce program, which spans 52 weeks and currently includes a Boston Green and a Spring Mix, “is unique in that your experience from day one to your last day, you have that same level of freshness,” Ken tells me.
