<p>Free trade agreements are proving to be a rewarding venture in the global marketplace. For United Fresh Produce Association, the passage of three in particular are taking their places at the top of the list. The South Korean trade agreement eliminates tariffs on American-grown asparagus and specified tomatoes. Panama's agreement will lead to the elimination of tariffs on most fruit products and for the triple crown, the Columbia free trade agreement will clear away most barriers to trade for U.S. products.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"> United Fresh Senior Vice President Robert Guenther states, "This key development in trade policy represents a win for agriculture across the board with up to $2.5 billion in new agricultural exports and support for up to 22,500 jobs involved. Increasing opportunities for those who grow and ship fresh produce is the foundation for the future success of the industry.
