Suzanne Wolter, Director of Marketing for the Rainier Fruit Company joined AndNowUKnow last week, to discuss the company's cherry season as well as their marketing endeavors as the Summer gets underway.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"> The company is harvesting Bing cherries, Rainier cherries, Chelan cherries, as well as their organic Bings and Rainiers. Most of the fruit is harvested in the Tri-Cities area along with fruit being harvested in The Dalles, Oregon. Rainier had just begun getting into the Mattawa, Washington area and an area just south of Wenatchee.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"> Washington State is into full swing on production, weather has been good and there are higher volumes of cherries than usual. With good quality and supply, retailers can use secondary displays to promote the cherry varieties which can be provided by the company.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">
