2012 CMI Kanzi® Apple Crop To Arrive Mid-February

<p><strong>Wenatchee, WA</strong> - CMI, one of Washington State’s largest grower/shipper of premium quality conventional and organic apples, pears and cherries, is announcing the arrival of the KANZI® Apple crop. Kanzi® Apples will be hitting the produce shelves beginning in mid-February. The company is promising a high quality crop this year, due to the favorable growing conditions the season has presented. Currently, the fruit is being packed in Washington by CMI.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"> Mike Wade, co-owner of CMI and owner of Columbia Fruit Packers and sub-licensed Kanzi® partners Applewood Orchards, exclusively grow the Kanzi® apples in the U.S., according to a recent press release. The Kanzi® apples are full flavored, offering the palate a perfect balance of sweet and tart. The fruit was initially developed in Europe by Greenstar Kanzi Europe from parents, Gala and Braeburn.
