LA CAÑADA FLINTRIDGE, CA - Let’s give a round of applause to Allen Lund Company (ALC)! Its ALC Logistics division was recently honored with a 2023 Top Software and Tech award, and it is not hard to see why.
“ALC Logistics, the software division of Allen Lund Company, is thrilled to be a recipient of the 2023 Food Logistics Top Software and Tech Award. We are one of the largest 3PLs, managing thousands of truckloads of food products throughout the U.S. Our TMS platform was designed specifically to manage fresh produce and other food loads. It is a testament to our employees who work on these tech products to have this recognition from our customers and by Food Logistics,” said Kenny Lund, Executive Vice President of ALC.
ALC Logistics developed the ALC Carrier app as an enhancement of its AlchemyTMS software solutions, which are used by growers, manufacturers, producers, distributors, retailers, and other shippers and receivers across North America. The software helps them make better business decisions by streamlining their operations, improving the productivity of their personnel, and increasing the visibility of their related costs.
A press release went on to note that the ALC Carrier app is a tool developed to help shippers track their cargo as it moves to its destination. AlchemyTMS leverages data collected by the Carrier app, so the shipper has full visibility of where their product is and when to expect it.
Winners of this award were picked by the editorial staff and advisory board of Food Logistics, recognizing new-to-market software and technology solutions in the supply chain industry.
