SALINAS, CA. - One year after entering the retail salad kit category, Church Brothers Farms is expanding its Little Gems Salad Kits with three new flavors: Hot Honey, Sweet Onion, and Tuscan Zest. The additions bring the lineup to seven kits, joining Caesar, Champagne, Creamy Chipotle and Miso Ginger.

Like the original four, the new kits are built on buttery, crisp Little Gem lettuce blends, dressings made with avocado oil, and right-sized 8.5oz bags.

The New Flavors

Hot Honey: Think of your favorite hot honey chicken sandwich, deconstructed into a fresh, craveable salad. Sweet heat, savory flavor, and an irresistible crunch that keeps you coming back for more.

Sweet Onion: A modern take on a slaw-style salad, Sweet Onion layers tangy feta and dried peaches, pears, and plums with a hearty blend of quinoa, sunflower seeds, and sesame seeds for added texture and plant-based protein. Finished with a rich, sweet onion dressing, the kit delivers a balanced combination of sweet, savory, and satisfying crunch in every bite.

Tuscan Zest: A crowd-pleasing, Italian-inspired salad with savory Parmesan crisps, hearty garbanzo beans, and a bold garlic vinaigrette. With naturally occurring protein and a Good Source of Fiber claim, it delivers craveable flavor, satisfying texture, and feel-good nutrition to support your nutrition goals in every bite.

Each kit features the lineup's signature "Boost Your Plate" protein callout, offering simple pairing ideas to consumers that make mealtime planning easier while helping them build a satisfying meal to support their daily protein goals.

"Little Gems Salad Kits filled a gap in the set for shoppers tired of heavy, cabbage-based options, and the response since launch has been incredibly positive," said Tracy Carranza, Vice President of Retail Sales at Church Brothers Farms, in the recent release. "Now consumers are asking for more. Expanding to seven flavors gives our retail partners more variety, more excitement, and a stronger assortment to help grow the category."

The new kits will be on display at Church Brothers Farms' booth #2079 during the IFPA Global Produce & Floral Show, October 15 and 16.
