Allen Lund Company Promotoes Jeremy McGovern to Manager of the Savannah, Georgia Office

The Allen Lund Company has promoted Jeremy McGovern to the position of manager of its Savannah, Georgia office.

McGovern brings six years as a transportation broker with the Allen Lund Company Charlotte to his new role. He has been successful in business development, training and developing new employees, and building solid, long-term relationships, according to a press release.

Jim McGuire, Charlotte manager, states, "I am confident Jeremy will bring the same work ethic, attitude and leadership to the Savannah office that made him successful in Charlotte. We will miss him but look forward to working together to strengthen the company's position in the Southeast."

McGovern notes, "I am very excited for the opportunity to work in Savannah. We have a terrific staff here that is bright and energetic." Vice President of Sales and Branch Operations Eddie Lund said: "Jeremy has shown a strong desire to take on more responsibility and his competitive nature continually pushes him to succeed and accomplish any goal set before him."

McGovern will focus on the Southeast region in dry and refrigerated transportation.
