With an anticipated 8 million pounds of cherries this year, Chris Pollock, Marketing Manager for the company, joins AndNowUKnow, to share the great news and what we have to look forward to this year, with BC Tree Fruits. <hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"> The company is excited about its estimated cherry crop for this year as well as its other Summer fruit offerings - peaches, nectarines and plums. The crops are anticipated to be 10% to 25% larger than last year. Weather has been on the side of BC Tree Fruits with a mild temperament this Winter, kicking off an early start to the Spring year.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"> The fruit will be harvested in mid-June and will hit produce shelves in early July.
