SAINT-LAURENT, QUEBEC - As the company looks towards a greater focus on food safety, Capespan North America has appointed a new Food Safety Director, Danielle Hand.

This will include everything from ensuring regulatory compliance and providing grower and customer support, to establishing and monitoring supplier food safety verification procedures.

Danielle will be taking the lead to implement the company’s protocols, operating procedures, and information systems, according to a press release, ensuring that Capespan North America will continue to meet its customers’ food safety certification needs. Under Danielle’s guidance, Capespan will continue to support its growers and exporters worldwide in meeting regulatory obligations under USA and Canadian law.

The company explains that Danielle will be working out of Capespan North America’s Gloucester City, NJ, office, but will serve markets in both USA and Canada.
