Carlsbad, CA - This developer is expanding on its reputation by reducing one company's environmental footprint. Cenergy Power has completed its latest solar project: a 472 kilowatt (kW) solar photovoltaic (PV) system at the Ready Roast Nut Company facility in Madera, California. Cenergy Power's project spans across approximately 70,000 square feet of roof space and will essentially generate over 670,000 kilowatt hours of clean power each year, help offset over 90% of the facility's cold storage electric utility usage, and can facilitate the savings of over $5 million of utility charges for 25 years.

Cenergy Power will be providing 10 years of scheduled operations and maintenance under the agreement, including touch-free panel cleanings, preventative maintenance & repair, and overall system warranties. Audrey Maring, Business Development at Ready Roast Nut, states, "Our new solar PV system is one of many investments Ready Roast has initiated to work as a collaborative partner with our customers to help achieve mutual sustainability objectives."
