NEW YORK - Traveling across the country to our Golden State, D’Arrigo New York showed out in full force at the International Fresh Produce Association’s Global Produce & Floral Show. Seven members of the D’Arrigo team experienced a busy and productive show in Anaheim, California, this past weekend in addition to participating as a sponsor of the Women's Fresh Perspective Breakfast.
“I came to the show with a marketing objective—checking out new items—and we found several of interest,” Gabriela D’Arrigo, Vice President of Marketing and Communications, described. “We’re currently 80/20 retail-focused, and the show gave us a great opportunity to discuss expanding foodservice.”
The D’Arrigo New York team spent the majority of the conference walking the show floor and touching base with people it hadn’t had lengthy conversations with or seen throughout the year. As noted in the release, some conversations focused on its newly released online ordering platform, building out more customer-specific programs, and leveling up its food safety protocol.
“People were really excited about the new online ordering platform—and how we plan to expand on it,” the release stated. “For the past several years, we have been leveling up in the food safety department. From the facility inside the coop to the two outside facilities, our goal is to have our SQF certification in six months’ time.”
The company’s food safety initiative exemplifies how D’Arrigo New York works—gradually changing to ensure everyone is comfortable and can adjust accordingly. Additionally, the company prides itself on its strong values that have been consistent over the past 75 years.
Here’s to a great show and looking forward to the next one!
