Welcome to Behind the Greens. On this episode, we join Dennis Hodgson, General Manager, Riversun Exports P/L in Australia. Volume is up for navel oranges this year, there is certainly and increase over last year's volumes. The sizes are quite a bit larger and the company knows that West coast retailers really enjoy that feature. The increase this year is attributed to the good, clean season that they have had. The great size of the fruit gives the company a much better pack out. Once the fruit gets to the U.S. it must be cleared by Customs and Border Protection. It is then inspected for quality, brix levels, damage, and color. There are promotable volumes on all sizes in stock. <hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">
