On this episode of Behind the Greens, Jimmy Martin, Packinghouse Manager, DNE World Fruit, shares with us the company's tradition of importing citrus from all over the world. This time of the year it is from the Southern Hemisphere. DNE is bagging Chilean product now. The company brings them in through the Summer and into the Fall; in September and into early October. Supplies are good and can be sent anywhere DNE needs to sell them.

Clementines are first dumped out of the trays where graders grade them and then they are bagged in three pound bags. In the next stage they are weighed and then boxed and stacked where they are ready for shipping. Clementines are in good supply on the East and West Coasts this year. DNE also sells fruit out of New Jersey and Florida. The quality is very good. They are seedless, as well.

The great supply this year is not only coming from Chile but from Australia as well.
