YAKIMA, WA - Just in time for summer holidays, Superfresh Growers® announces the return of Two-Bite Cherries™ with a special marketing program. The Two-Bite Cherries program will launch with a full marketing program behind it.
“This summer we are expecting a sensational crop of jumbo sized Rainier and Dark Sweet cherries,” describes Mike Preacher, Director of Marketing. “Shoppers will delight in these extra-large cherries that will make an impression at summer picnics, barbeques, and gathering. For retailers, the sale will be incremental and deliver a higher ring at the register.”
According to a press release, this program will be incorporated into the Sweeten Up Your Summer™ sweepstakes, when Superfresh Growers will be interacting with online communities by encouraging a healthy lifestyle, increasing cherry consumption, and giving away a total of $1,750 in gift card prizes.
The company noted that this sweepstakes is designed to increase cherry purchases and up engagement regarding cherry season. In 2016, Sweeten Up Your Summer had 20 million online impressions.
“Cherries are one of the produce department’s top-dollar items, and we recognize the importance of helping retailers creatively optimize their cherry sales outside of the traditional Fourth of July and Canada Day promotional period,” says Preacher.
Over the last decade, Superfresh Growers has made it a priority to invest in varieties and locations. They strive to create delicious fruit while they simultaneously extend the cherry season.
