<p>Dulcinea is keeping the melon industry on its toes. The company's strategy the past few years has been to expand its specialty seasonal melon offerings of honeydews, yellow flesh mini watermelons and orange flesh honeydews. </p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><p>As the peak of melon season gets under way with high demand, great quality product and promotional opportunities in the melon category, the company has begun trialing a new orange flesh honeydew called Orange Bliss in the San Joaquin Valley. This season will host a small pre-commercial trial but the company is very excited about the flavor and taste profile of this melon.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><img src="https://cdn.andnowuknow.com/legacyWriterImages/dulcinea052213body.jpg" alt="Cropped Images May 22nd 2013" /><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">Monique McLaws, Marketing Director, tells AndNowUKnow, "We anticipate another active and productive year in the watermelon category in both minis and full size seedless. The cantaloupe category is still rebounding but we see a consistently strong demand for our Tuscan cantaloupes."</p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><p>Dulcinea has also created new communication opportunities for its Ruby Bliss melons. The company's high graphic bins promotes the products unique attributes: dark exterior rind and a deep ruby red interior flesh. Ms. McLaws, tells us, "We think adding additional messaging about the product usage and strong brand recognition can add lots of excitement to a floor display. We came up with an easy application to put up the signs because we know how busy it is in the produce department. The one-step application makes turning a regular bin into an instant display." </p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><p>Looks like this will be quite the season for Dulcinea!</p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><p><a class="btn btn-sm btn-primary col-lg-12" style="white-space: normal;" href=" http://www.dulcinea.com " target="_new"> Dulcinea </a></p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">
