ASHEVILLE, NC - We've reported that Earth Fare will be opening a new store in Georgia. Before that, talks surfaced that the organic grocer was to open its fifteenth Florida location. Now that that's underway, it looks like Earth Fare wants more of that Florida realty. 15 more store locations are slotted to open in the Sunshine State, bringing Earth Fare's total store count to 55 in 10 states.
“We’re working about 15 opportunities between Miami and Tallahassee, right now,” stated Frank Scorpiniti, CEO. “That would put us at 30 stores in Florida.”
According to the Tampa Bay Business Journal, Earth Fare has approximately 100 stores at various stages of development in its “real estate pipeline.”
“We have enough opportunity to more than double the size of the business over the next few years,” Scorpiniti stated.
