SALISBURY, NC - Cut the ribbon and cue the confetti! An upcoming grand opening is on the horizon as Food Lion brings its newest store to the Inwood, West Virginia, region. Set to open on the morning of February 8, the new location will bring an extensive product assortment to Inwood shoppers.
“I’ve had the pleasure of serving the Inwood community for the last seven years and have appreciated the opportunity to meet many of our wonderful neighbors,” said Jay Moaveni, Store Manager of the new Inwood Food Lion. “Our neighbors have always trusted us to nourish their family, and my team and I are excited to bring them this new store to make shopping even easier. I think customers will be thrilled to see everything we have to offer!”
Similar to other Food Lion stores, the newest location features a vast assortment of products, including fresh fruit cut in-store and a walk-in produce cooler that ensures the freshest items are available to consumers. The store also includes a wide variety of affordable and easy grab-and-go options, as well as an impressive selection of organic, gluten-free, and plant-based items to choose from.
The store will also put an emphasis on local, offering in-season produce from Orr’s Farm Market and more.
Shoppers at the new Food Lion will have access to the grocer’s convenient grocery pick-up service, which allows consumers to place an order with the click of a button while experiencing the same low prices and fresh food items they receive in the store.
As part of this expansion, Food Lion has shown its support for the Inwood community by pledging to donate 15,000 meals to Community Cupboard, an agency of Mountaineer Food Bank.
