We feel that it is important to be as close to our growers as possible to best serve their packing needs and maximize resources, including transportation.”

Gary noted that the California crop is looking excellent, with the volume projected to be 10 percent larger than last year’s.
“As a company, we continue to grow our overall volume of California avocados each year, both conventional and organic. As always, we will offer them to our customers all the way through the end of the California avocado season, including our late season avocados from the Northern region, which will be available into September,” he explained.
