LOS ANGELES, CA – The Giumarra Companies has announced the addition of two new hires to its eastern sales force; Stu Monaghan and Rob Campbell join the company, respectively, as Division Manager of Giumarra Southeast and Director of Sales of the Giumarra International Berry East Coast operation.
“We are pleased to bring Stu and Rob on board to help develop our East Coast customer and grower bases,” John Corsaro, CEO for Giumarra shared upon the new appointments. “They each bring robust experience and demonstrated leadership in the produce industry.”
Monaghan had previously served as Sales Director of Seald Sweet. Priorly, he served in various management positions at DNE World Fruit. He brings nearly 30 years of produce industry experience to Giumarra. In his new position, Monaghan will be based in Vero Beach, Florida, where he will oversee the Giumarra Southeast division, with responsibilities including staffing, finances, grower relations, and sales.
“I am honored that the Giumarra Companies has chosen me to lead the southeastern division,” said Monaghan. “Giumarra is known throughout our industry as a marketing leader across multiple commodities while maintaining close partnerships with the top growers in the United States and abroad. I am excited to develop new programs and to lead our team as we expand our business nationally.”
Campbell had previously been employed at Giumarra from 2006 to 2010, and he rejoined the company from the Oppenheimer Group, where he specialized in berry sales. Campbell will oversee East Coast sales for the company’s berry program from the company’s Avondale, Pennsylvania office.
“Rob’s demonstrated sales success in the berry category will be of huge value for our business,” said Tom Richardson, V.P. Global Development. “Additionally, his communicative management style and strong business acumen make him well positioned for success.”
We at AndNowUKnow congratulate Campbell and Monaghan on their new appointments and wish them both the best in their future endeavors.
