CHICAGO, IL - Hazel Technologies is making strides in its strategy to expand with new partners to extend shelf life and pose a solution to food waste across the supply chain. The tech savant recently revealed its latest move to bolster its team, naming Mike Rubidoux as Director of Sales Strategy. In his new role, he will oversee the strategic planning, monitor category trends, and strengthen relationships with customers to bolster sales growth for the company.

Rubidoux brings with him over 30 years of domestic and international supplier sales experience. During his tenured career, he oversaw sales of apples, cherries, and pears for Sage Fruit Company, as well as spearheaded kiwifruit, grape, and citrus sales to retail, foodservice operators, and wholesalers as the leading fruit marketer for Sun Pacific Marketing.

Most recently, Rubidoux held the position of Sales Manager at Pacific Organic Produce/Purity Organics, according to a press release, where he represented over 100 organic growers in the U.S. and Latin America. In addition to garnering experience in supplier sales, Rubidoux also spent several years in foodservice sales as the Northwest Division Manager at Amerifresh.

Rubidoux obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Ag Business Management from California Polytechnic State University. He also served as the President of the Peruvian Asparagus Importers Association and as a Board Member of the North American Strawberry Growers Association.
