MIAMI, FL - Rounding out the first month of the new year, Infinite Herbs & Specialties has announced that a transition will be taking place amongst its leadership. Co-Founder Camilo Penalosa will be stepping away from the company’s daily operations and assuming an advisory role, while Phillipp Harlov will be promoted to Vice President of Sales and Marketing, assuming Penalosa’s former customer responsibilities.

Harlov has held multiple positions at Infinite Herbs, most recently managing the company's customer service department and working alongside Penalosa on business development, sales, and marketing. According to a release, he began working for the company in 2005 as an intern. Shortly after, he became a warehouse supervisor. In his new role, Harlov will report directly to Chief Executive Officer Gregorio Berliavsky.

"During his 18 years at Infinite Herbs, Phil has shown a strong dedication to delivering excellent customer service," said Berliavsky. "I am confident that he will help Infinite Herbs continue to grow and be a successful company for many years to come."

Penalosa also commented on his promotion.

"Phil has worked by my side in the sales and marketing department for nearly two decades. He built our customer service team from the ground up," he added. "He understands our customers' needs and genuinely cares about relationship-building. I can't think of anyone else I'd want to assume this position."

Penalosa launched Infinite Herbs with Berliavsky more than 20 years ago.

"It has been my honor and a pleasure to work with all the people who have helped make Infinite Herbs the success it is today," commented Penalosa. "I look forward to staying involved in the company as an advisor.”

Together, Penalosa and Berliavsky grew a single, small distribution warehouse in Boston into an international farming and sales company with additional warehouses in Chicago, Illinois; New Jersey; and Miami, Florida. Infinite Herbs operates farms in the United States, Mexico, and South America and sells conventional and organic herbs and specialty vegetables to local and major retail and foodservice clients nationwide.

"Being Camilo's business partner for over two decades has been a great experience. He has been an integral part of the company's success by building customer trust and developing successful new products and presentations to fill their needs," said Berliavsky. "We wish Camilo the best in this new stage of his life, and we are pleased that he will continue in an advisory capacity."

Best wishes to both leaders as they assume their new positions!
