LA CAÑADA FLINTRIDGE, CA – There aren’t many companies that can proclaim they’ve survived 40 long years, and it’s even more remarkable when you remember that Allen Lund only started his business with $1,000 in his pocket. Today marks Allen Lund Company’s 40th Anniversary, and a dream come true for the President and CEO.
“Like I’ve always said, I have had the privilege of living the American dream,” Allen Lund said in a press release. “Celebrating 40 years is a dream come true to me which has been made possible by the hard working people in this industry. Being a part of this industry that thrives on trust has been amazing. I don’t know how anyone could have lived a better life. Working with my family and wonderful employees has been a dream. I’m so proud of this company, its carriers, shippers, and employees.”
To learn more about this milestone achievement, I recently spoke with Kenny Lund, Vice President of Support Operations, who tells me how proud he is of his father and how great it is to be part of this American dream story.

Things have changed quite a bit over the past 40 years, but a big part of the company’s success is its ability to stay ahead of the times and keep up with the demands of the industry. But as our methods of communication evolve, so does the Allen Lund Company.
“We’re excited to hit that 40 year mark, and it’s also energizing us to be ready for the next 40 years and to continue providing that great customer service,” Kenny said.

When I ask Kenny what’s next, he says that Allen Lund Company will continue to grow its TMS offering, enhance its communication efforts, and give back to the industry that has supported the company over the past 40 years.
