TORREON, MEXICO - Just in time for peak season, tomato provider Kingdom Fresh has announced a new General Manager. Jaime Garcia, a veteran from the Kingdom Fresh ranks, will take over the position and implement plans to expand the company’s presence and market share.
“I welcome this new challenge and I am thrilled with the possibilities it represents,” Garcia said, in a company press release. “We have a great team of professionals, and I am sure we will continue our steady growth.”
Garcia has worked for Kingdom Fresh for nearly a decade. In 2008, after working with the company on various projects, Garcia joined Kingdom Fresh in the capacity of Grower Relations and Procurement. He was later appointed Operations Manager, and also served in important roles in Sales.
“I am confident Jaime’s leadership will nurture the growth we are looking to have in the upcoming seasons; his market knowledge and industry experience will guide the company in the right direction,” said CEO Alberto Gonzalez. “Furthermore, I am confident in Jaime’s deep knowledge of the company, as he has grown with it, having sales, operations, logistics, and farming understanding. He was the best choice, a young talent with an all-around background that will help us achieve our future goals.”
The company noted that Garcia has played an important role in Kingdom Fresh’s success, always building new connections with growers and customers and upholding the values that guide the company’s operations.
“We foster people to grow up with the company, and Jaime is the type of person you want to foster to continue growing,” said Gonzalez.
We at AndNowUKnow congratulate Jaime and wish him and the Kingdom Fresh team all the best going forward.
