<p> Kingston Fresh is welcoming Chilean Grapes into its growing imports portfolio. The company anticipates the first arrivals in early February into the Philadelphia ports – perfect to service its key customers within the Eastern seaboard and Midwest markets, according to a press release.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"> Ken Nabal, President, traveled to Chile this month to visit grower-partners and walk grape and citrus fields. “Surveying a lot of our grape production in the South over a four day period, I see a lot of fruit on vines with consistent bunches and excellent berry sizing,” said Nabal. “Weather has been near perfect and we are excited with what we’re seeing.”<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"> David O. Kingston, CEO and Owner of Kingston Companies, says that the Chilean grape program will tie in with several other strategic sourcing opportunities on tap for 2014.
