Malena Produce's John Davidson Discusses Miles for Malena Campaign

NOGALES, AZ - The Malena Produce team joined the 5K Race for a Healthier World during the 2025 Global Produce & Floral Show. Thanks to the generosity of the grower’s partners, it raised and matched $5,565 USD, donating a total of $11,130 USD to the California Fire Foundation.

“We’re truly grateful to everyone who joined and supported our Miles for Malena campaign during the 5K Race for a Healthier World at GPFS 2025 in Anaheim, California,” John Davidson, Director of Sales at Malena Produce, said.

The Malena Produce team was proudly represented by 12 participants from sales, purchasing, marketing, and management, ranging in age from 21 to 71.

“Together, we ran for a cause we deeply believe in and had a wonderful time sharing this experience as a team,” John continued. “Support from our customers, partners, and friends from across the produce industry made this possible. Miles for Malena reflects our belief that working together, whether in business, health, or community, can truly make an impact.”
