VANCOUVER, BC, CANADA - Mother’s Day is just around the corner, which means that retail promotions abound. In order to keep up the promotional fervor, Oppy’s Ocean Spray®-branded strawberries are ready to put their California quality to the test. The multifaceted strawberry program, which comes out of Oxnard, Watsonville, and Salinas, California, is at peak production now. Production from East Santa Maria will increase in May, which will then transition to peak production from West Santa Maria in June and July.

This promotion speaks to celebrating parents during this unprecedented time. Perhaps now more than ever, parents are balancing work and home life as they set up new routines.

“Strawberries are a traditional part of spring celebrations honoring our parents, offering some much-needed normality, and parents this year have certainly earned some special recognition. The fact that strawberries are also rich in vitamin C makes the two-pound Ocean Spray pack a great call for family dishes, desserts, and healthy snacking,” Fung noted in a press release.

One such way Oppy is leveraging Ocean Spray is by using its brand familiarity.
