GREENCASTLE, PA - Something about the taste and texture of a sweet, juicy peach perfectly complements a warm, sunny day here in the Northern Hemisphere. Bringing a little bit of that quintessential spring and summertime flavor to the produce aisles, Keystone Fruit Marketing offers consumers mouth-watering peaches and retailers great merchandising opportunities.

Michael Blume, Vice President of Sales, Keystone Fruit Marketing“Keystone Fruit Marketing has been marketing and selling peaches since the early 1980s—we know peaches!” said Mike Blume, Vice President of Sales, in a release. “Keystone currently sells peaches from South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, West Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania. We expect to get started with our Southern peaches in mid-May and go through early September.”

Currently, the supplier expects volumes to be limited at the start of the season due to cold weather this past March that affected all crops in the Southern growing regions, the press release explained. However, by mid-June, growers are optimistic that they will have a nice yield, meaning now is the optimal time for buyers to reach out to sales managers and plan their displays.
