LEAMINGTON, ON - While most are not advocates for having too many cooks in the kitchen, Pure Flavor® is reveling in its expanded family of greenhouse growers because a bigger family of growers means a greater selection of Foodland Ontario vegetables to have on-hand ahead of the 94th annual CPMA Convention & Trade Show—duh! In addition to celebrating the success of its new Georgia greenhouse project, Pure Flavor is heading to Montreal with new organic items and a just-launched culinary line of products under its Craft House Collection.

Jamie Moracci, President, Pure Flavor®“We are extending our reach every season by adding to our family of growers in strategic regions throughout North America. Increased demand for our organics program has prompted us to expand our Canadian organic product offering,” said company President Jamie Moracci.

To further support its growth, Pure Flavor has been steadily adding grower partners across all commodities over the years. This has helped the Leamington-based company bolster its organics program, which now boasts eight USDA Certified Organic items that ship year-round. But that’s not all that Pure Flavor has been striving for under the organics umbrella. The grower also spent the winter developing a new, buzz-worthy product line, Craft House Collection™, to meet retail and foodservice needs and ensure that Pure Flavor is a topic of interest in the larger organics discussion. The line taps into the company’s passion for premium vegetables. The Craft House Collection was also created to inspire the chef inside every consumer to make fresh, greenhouse-grown veggies shine in memorable recipes.

According to a press release, Pure Flavor partnered with six different restaurants to develop the Craft House Collection product line with the goal of creating experiences that were not only unique, but allow consumers to enjoy vegetables that were destined to be part of great eating experiences.

Matt Mastronardi, Executive Vice President, Pure Flavor®“For those who really like to cook and get creative in the kitchen, the Craft House Collection is exactly what you are looking for,” said Matt Mastronardi, Executive Vice-President. “The first two items to be featured in the collection are our Mini San Marzano Tomatoes and Aurora Long Sweet Peppers; both items are not only great for snacking but are cooking items with unique flavors and textures that you rarely discover. They really are the best of the grill, bake, stuff, and sauté worlds.”
